E-pravo.BG Hackathon’2020 is a leading event enhancing innovating ideas of student, lawyers, and developers.

The Hackathon will flow in two streams:

  • Improving the legal business and the practice of law,
  • Facilitating access to justice.

What you could expect:

Networking – communication and active working in small teams;

Innovations – creating innovative products. Best ideas will be further developed;

Brain storming – continuous brainstorming, implementations and testing

The E-Justice Awards’2020

The First place – grant for participation at 11th Annual Innovating Justice Forum, which will take place in the Peace Palace in The Hague in February 2021

The Second place – awards from sponsors, partners and organizers

The Third place – awards from sponsors, partners and organizers

DRAFT SCHEDULE FOR THE E-PRAVO.BG HACKATHON’2020

Hackathon location: St Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

June 17, 2020 – E-pravo.bg Hackathon Camp – Phase 2

09:30 – Registration of participants.

10:00 – Opening of hackathon (organizers, mentors, sponsors, rules, agenda).

10:30 – IdeaTon (Brainstorming in two parallel streams: “Improving the legal business and the practice of law” and “Facilitating access to justice”)

11:00 – Presentation of the ideas of the participants and the results of IdeaTon (pitching 60 seconds on the idea).

12:00 – Formation of teams.

12:30 – Start of teamwork.

14:00 – Lunch.

15:00 – Mentors work with teams.

16:00 – Workshops for teams. (e.g. how to create a pitch deck, business modeling, lean canvas etc)

18:00 – Dinner.

19:00 – Check-point # 1. (Check the number of teams that are working)

20:00 – Continue work or relax.

 

June 18, 2020 – Presentation of projects

09:00 – Breakfast, coffee, teamwork continues.

09:30 – Check-point # 2. (Check the number of teams that are still working)

12:00 – Mentors work with teams.

13:00 – Training Pitches on the stage before the board of mentors)

14:00 – Lunch.

15:30 – Completion of development.

17:30 – Final presentation of projects at the E-Pravo.BG conference before the panel of judges

18:00 – Definition of winning projects and Award ceremony
